Oversees the organization’s strategic direction, operational leadership, and long-term growth initiatives. Responsible for guiding executive decision-making, strengthening institutional performance, and ensuring EF Nexus achieves its mission across regional and international markets.

Josue GUTABARWANIMANA

Chief Executive Officer/ Head of Finance — Cofounder

Serves as the principal executive leader of EF Nexus, shaping the company’s vision, expansion strategy, and organizational culture. Leads high-level partnerships, innovation programs, and initiatives focused on educational transformation and continental impact

Egide NIYOMURENGENZI

Chief Operating Officer

Directs the day-to-day operational activities of EF Nexus, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and successful execution of strategic projects. Oversees internal systems, program implementation, and operational coordination across departments and initiatives.

Salima INGABIRE

Chief Technology Officer

Leads EF Nexus’s technology strategy, digital innovation, and AI-driven solutions. Oversees the development of EdTech platforms, AI Labs, cybersecurity, and digital transformation projects that enhance learning and organizational performance.

ROSEMARY Redempta

Strategic Alliances Director & Chief Marketing Officer

Develops and manages strategic partnerships with institutions, employers, governments, and international organizations. Also leads marketing strategy, brand positioning, communications, and outreach initiatives to strengthen EF Nexus’s visibility, reputation, and stakeholder engagement.

The Story of EF Nexus

2020

The Foundation

EduFacilitators Nexus Ltd was established with a bold vision: to become the backbone of education transformation in Africa. Starting with a small but passionate team, EF Nexus began laying the groundwork for what would become a continent-wide education network.

2021

NIIT is Born

EF Nexus establishes the Nexus Institute of Innovation and Technology (NIIT) as its flagship educational institution, launching its first cohort of technology and business programs to serve African students seeking world-class education.

2022

Pathora Program Launch

The Pathora University Preparation Program is launched, providing African students with comprehensive consultancy support to access international universities in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, and beyond.

2023

Continental Expansion

EF Nexus expands its footprint across Sub-Saharan Africa, establishing partnerships with over 30 institutions and reaching students in 10+ countries. The AI Innovation Lab is officially launched.

2025

The Future is Now

With 10,000+ students empowered, 50+ institutional partners, and AI-driven programs in 15+ countries, EF Nexus stands stronger than ever — committed to shaping Africa's educational and economic future for generations to come.
